Diva Telecom expands team following continued growth

Leeds based Diva Telecom announces a series of new appointments as part of its strategy to support the roll-out of Gigabit Leeds in partnership with infrastructure provider, CityFibre.

Gigabit Leeds is a new gigabit speed internet connectivity that is now available to businesses across Leeds.

Established in 2006, Leeds-based Diva Telecom provides bespoke telecoms solutions to businesses. Clients include global transport and logistics company, Maersk Group, fashion mail order brand Pure Collection, Enact, a leading provider of conveyancing services as well as many blue chip and small to medium sized businesses. As the Leeds partner of CityFibre, who power the ultra-fast Gigabit City Leeds pure fibre network, Diva Telecom enable businesses to fully embrace next-generation cloud services.

In terms of people at Diva Telecom, further strengthening the sales team, David Brookmyre has been appointed as Internal Account Manager having previously worked at BT for seven years.

Alex Lawler joins as Marketing Manager, bringing with her over 12 years experience with Leeds City Council, Brother, Federal-Mogul and most recently Alex worked for a local business telecommunications company for two years.

Having completed his apprenticeship in early September, Daniel Dudley has taken on a permanent role as Digital Marketing Executive, working alongside Alex.

With the success of Daniel’s apprenticeship and in response to the national apprenticeship drive, Diva has continued its support of the scheme through the creation of a Business Administration role, which has been taken on by apprentice, Jess Hoyle.

Diva Telecom are also delighted to announce that Lyndsey Smith has been promoted to Operations Manager, in recognition of her achievements over the last six months as Service and Operations Team Leader.
