Surrey-based provider of care management software, Person Centred Software, has acquired a counterpart in London as it looks to make digital medication management safer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The move sees Camascope join Person Centred Software (PCS), while Camascope’s previous chief executive Kehan Zhou steps up as group chief executive of PCS Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PCS joins a person’s medication administration record to the rest of their care notes, such as hydration, falls and activities, in order to give care providers full context and avoid missed or incorrect doses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its care operating system brings together care provision, medication management, staffing and training, and resident and family experience, all in one platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zhou, who now heads PCS, Camascope, and children’s care specialist Clearcare, was born in a village in Inner Mongolia and taught himself English from television and podcasts before heading to university in America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His career since has taken him from building a computer vision technology company in the US to group chief executive of the PCS Group, which includes Clearcare, specialists in children’s care software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having spent his career building and scaling AI and data businesses, Kehan joined Camascope as chief executive in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under his direction, the company grew from supporting approximately 14,000 care residents to more than 85,000 and was ranked 248th in the Financial Times’ FT 1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To understand the realities facing care providers, Zhou has spent time living as a care home resident and worked night shifts alongside the teams who rely on the software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
