Lumenia previews ERP comparison event ahead of Birmingham gathering
Lumenia Consulting has outlined plans for the 2026 edition of its ERP HEADtoHEAD event, which will take place on 24–25 March at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.
The two-day event brings together ERP vendors, software providers and business leaders for a series of live demonstrations, panel discussions and advisory sessions aimed at helping organisations evaluate enterprise resource planning systems.
Unlike traditional software conferences, the format centres on structured demonstrations in which vendors present their systems using identical scripts. The approach allows delegates to compare how different ERP platforms handle the same business scenarios, highlighting differences in workflow, usability and functionality.
Attendees will be able to observe demonstrations across operational areas including finance, production, supply chain, procurement and business intelligence, offering insight into how systems perform in practical business situations.
Alongside the demonstrations, senior consultants from Lumenia Consulting will deliver keynote sessions examining ERP readiness, digital transformation and factors that influence successful implementation projects.
Two panel discussions are also scheduled during the event. One session will explore how artificial intelligence is influencing ERP development and will feature speakers from Mysoft, TEKenable, Infor and IFS. A second panel made up of end-users will focus on lessons learned from ERP implementation projects and the common issues organisations encounter during deployment.
The 2026 event will include 14 ERP vendors and six complementary software providers exhibiting in the expo area, with sponsorship packages spanning gold, silver and bronze tiers. Organisers said the exhibition space and scheduled breaks are designed to give delegates opportunities to discuss project requirements directly with suppliers.
Ian O’Toole, managing partner at Lumenia Consulting, said the event is intended to help organisations gain a clearer view of the ERP market before committing to a shortlist.
“This event is built for organisations who want to understand their options quickly and confidently,” he said. “The pace, the structure and the direct access to experts make it one of the most efficient ways to assess the ERP market.”
The event typically attracts senior finance, IT and operational leaders responsible for evaluating ERP platforms and planning technology investments. Delegate passes start from £125 plus VAT and include access to all sessions, catering and networking events.
