DXP secures G-Cloud 8’ Digital Marketplace spot with its Unify Cloud Telephony services

Communications solutions provider, DXP, has been selected to offer its Unify Cloud Telephony services on G-Cloud 8’ Digital Marketplace, the latest iteration of the government’s G-Cloud framework.

This is the second time in 12 months that the company has been recognised by the government initiative, having achieved G-Cloud 7 status in November 2015, demonstrating DXP’s continued high performance in the delivery of robust and effective communications solutions for organisations in the public sector.

Techsparx-Ad-RevisedDXP, based in Leigh, Lancashire, is a managed services company delivering flexible converged solutions that improve competitive edge and agility. Designing, delivering and maintaining support from telephone lines to cloud telephony, LAN to global WAN and Wi-Fi to video collaboration, DXP provide solutions for household brands, emergency services, government organisations, health and education and businesses across a variety of industries.

Phil Sawyer, Managing Director, comments: “We are delighted to be part of G-Cloud 8 which ensures we are well-positioned to continue to deliver critical services to complex, innovative organisations. Reinforcing our position as one of the UK’s most trusted IT service suppliers, it underlines our ability to act as strategic support to the public sector.

“We have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience within the sector over a period of many years. We look forward to helping clients navigate complex future projects through cost efficient solutions, in what is a critical time for the sector and an exciting time for cloud innovation.”

The G-Cloud framework has existed for almost five years to promote cloud-based computing within public sector and government organisations. It is designed to streamline the tender process for cloud-related services, with G-Cloud suppliers adhering to strict framework agreements, ensuring that flexibility is maintained in procurement contracts.

As a supplier on the Digital Marketplace, DXP’s services can be used by organisations within central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations.
