DXP brings mobile integration to SMEs

Unified communications solutions provider DXP has launched a new mobile service to bring all the features of landline and office PBX to mobile handsets. MobiX is a SIM – rather than an app – that allows any mobile handset to be a fully functional business phone system regardless of where the user is located.

MobiX is completely integrated with the mobile network for voice, data and SMS, and all features of an office PBX system, such as call forwarding, IVR, call recording and out-of-hours messaging are configured in the network for a rapid, secure and seamless service.

Phil Sawyer, managing director at DXP said: “Those SMEs who are implementing a digital workplace are reaping the benefits, including motivated employees, increased productivity and reduced overheads. MobiX adds new functionality to enable a fully optimised office environment via mobile technology.”

According to a company press release, DXP’s experience in managing communications means the company is ideally placed to offer this mobile integration service that will boost productivity for remote workers in any environment. DXP provides integrated business technology solutions that help organisations minimise costs and improve business value.
