Arrow Electronics has taken a five-year term at Trafford House, moving from its previous base at New York Street.

US-owned Arrow has three divisions, including Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions in Harrogate and Arrow Components in Essex. The group has 17 locations in the UK and employs 1,500 staff.

With 2017 sales of $26.6 billion, Arrow aggregates electronics and enterprise computing solutions for customers and suppliers in industrial and commercial markets. The company maintains a network of more than 345 locations serving over 80 countries.

Richard Briars, facilities manager for the UK, said: “The relocation of our Manchester office is driven by our real estate strategy which involves relocating small offices in high head rent areas to more suburban areas.”

Rachel Witherick, commercial property solicitor at Langleys, added: “We are pleased to support Arrow Electronics in its relocation to Trafford House which provides high quality serviced office space for the business and its staff.”
