{"id":1162,"date":"2016-08-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-08-03T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techsparx.co.uk\/north\/uncategorized\/us-concertcare-opens-new-liverpool-base\/"},"modified":"2025-02-28T14:37:33","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T14:37:33","slug":"us-concertcare-opens-new-liverpool-base","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.techsparx.co.uk\/north\/us-concertcare-opens-new-liverpool-base\/","title":{"rendered":"US ConcertCare opens new Liverpool base"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US technology firm ConcertCare has announced the launch of a new operation in Liverpool after partnering up with a Merseyside data centre operator and cloud computing specialist, AIMES.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Birmingham, Alabama, ConcertCare is now set to open an office in Liverpool\u2019s Alder Hey Innovation Centre.<\/p>\n<p>ConcertCare\u2019s chief executive, Tanveer Patel, chose Liverpool for its UK headquarters after ties were made during a trade mission to the US led by city Mayor Joe Anderson last year.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Patel has since visited Liverpool twice and has received extensive support from the city region\u2019s inward investment agency, Invest Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u00a0provides technology services to the health sector to help practitioners improve efficiency and patient outcomes, announced its partnership with\u00a0AIMES, based at Liverpool Innovation Park,<\/p>\n<p>Ms Patel said: \u201cThe inevitable uncertainty which accompanies an overseas expansion was completely removed for us by the support of the Invest Liverpool team who have introduced us to a range of potential partners and customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to have entered into the new partnership with AIMES, which is an internationally recognised pioneer and innovator in the data and cloud computing arena.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ConcertCare already works with the US\u2019s biggest healthcare provider and, through its Indian office, with India\u2019s third-largest healthcare provider.<\/p>\n<p>Prof Dennis Kehoe, chief executive of AIMES, added: \u201cWe are very excited to be entering into a collaboration with a company which offers expertise and experience complementary to our own.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe there are significant new business, research and development opportunities for our joint venture both here in the UK and overseas, capitalising on our combined strengths in software development, data management and cloud computing services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AIMES\u2019 customers include Everton FC, Atlantic Container Line, SPHERE, Liverpool Heart and Chest NHS Foundation Trust and the Federation of Small Businesses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>US technology firm ConcertCare has announced the launch of a new operation in Liverpool after partnering up with a Merseyside data centre operator and cloud computing specialist, AIMES.
