WONDRWALL Ltd has secured a \u00a32m financing package from\u00a0NatWest to support the tech firm\u2019s business growth aspirations.<\/p>\n
The firm has developed an intelligent home solution which automatically controls the heating, lighting and security.\u00a0The system comprises of hardware and built in software, transforms any home into an intelligent one that can operate on its own while also responding to individual behaviours and living habits.<\/p>\n
While other systems on the market can be controlled remotely through mobile phones, the Wondrwall software learns household behavioural trends and can adjust home settings accordingly. This includes lights switching on when the householders wake up and adjusting heating according to\u00a0occupancy.<\/p>\n
Daniel Burton, founder and chief executive of Wondrwall, commented: \u201cWondrwall began as an energy saving product, tasked with saving the billions being wasted from heating and lighting empty homes.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring our development cycle the home technology market saw the arrival of a fragmented landscape of devices to control your boiler, lighting, security and more.<\/p>\n
\u201cCompounding the problem of requiring multiple devices to improve your home\u2019s efficiency was the issue that they all seemed to lack intelligence, requiring significant user input to operate effectively.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe knew Wondrwall could be so much more than just an energy saving system, so we extended functionality to include lifestyle personalisation, safety and security features.\u201d<\/p>\n
Wondrwall selected\u00a0NatWest to support its ambitions due to the banks specialist support for businesses in the tech sector.<\/p>\n
The funding package includes facilities from partners RBSIF and Lombard. NatWest technology sector relationship manger Matt Mawdesley supported the deal.<\/p>\n
