{"id":1303,"date":"2017-03-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techsparx.co.uk\/north\/uncategorized\/stockport-software-firm-eticom-expands-funding-injection\/"},"modified":"2025-02-28T14:37:54","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T14:37:54","slug":"stockport-software-firm-eticom-expands-funding-injection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.techsparx.co.uk\/north\/stockport-software-firm-eticom-expands-funding-injection\/","title":{"rendered":"Stockport software firm Eticom expands after funding injection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Business management software firm Eticom has relocated its operations after securing \u00a3150,000 funding.\u00a0A fast growing tech company plans a recruitment drive after moving into new premises.<\/p>\n<p>The loan has enabled the business to more than double the size of its headquarters with the purchase of a 2,500 sq ft industrial unit, which is now home to its hardware production line, software development team and sales force.<\/p>\n<p>It is hoped that up to four new jobs comprising sales staff, and hardware and software technicians will be created.<\/p>\n<p>Founded by former software and electrical engineers Lee Roche and John Wild in 2012 as a self-funded start-up, Eticom now employs seven staff and projects a \u00a33 million turnover for this year.<\/p>\n<p>Eticom\u2019s cloud-based management systems &#8211; targeted at commercial landlords &#8211; aims to save time and money by managing buildings and tenants via a dashboard or app.<\/p>\n<p>Customers can control everything from energy use, billing, tenant information and emergency systems.<\/p>\n<p>Founding partner Lee said: \u201cThe move to our new headquarters marks a period of significant growth for Eticom.
