<\/p>\nBury-based technology firm Pennine, has secured a partnership with a leading European artificial intelligence developer.<\/p>\n

Pennine, a communications, data and networking specialist has signed the agreement with Hungarian voice analytic software company Xdroid.<\/p>\n
The deal will give Pennine’s UK contact centre clients access to automated speech technology which can detect emotions such as displeasure, happiness and uncertainty using algorithms.<\/p>\n
Xdroid\u2019s managing director, Gerry de Graaf, commented: \u201cPennine is an important addition to our European partner network.<\/p>\n
“The company has both an impressive skill-set and reach, serving a contact centre client base which spans SMEs through to international Blue Chips.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis partnership will provide Pennine with a much stronger proposition for the contact centre market as a whole and enhance its existing clients\u2019 customer communications capabilities.”<\/p>\n
Xdroid’s technology is already in use by companies in sectors including finance, insurance and utilities.<\/p>\n
The software automatically processes customer interactions and detects different emotional responses, speech patterns, hold music and void periods.<\/p>\n
Designers say the data can then be used to refine\u00a0work\u00a0processes, minimise call times, increase customer satisfaction and introduce customised\u00a0training\u00a0programmes.<\/p>\n
Pennine\u2019s sales director Steve Watts said: \u201cThe Xdroid analytics solution is a game-changer, an immensely powerful and cost-effective performance management tool.<\/p>\n
