AFTER a bumper year, a York IT firm has powered its expansion plans with a new senior appointment.<\/p>\n

In six years, PowerON’s workforce has grown from just four people to 28. The company has also seen turnover surge from \u00a3128,000 to almost \u00a32.15 million since it was set up six years ago and it is on track to reach \u00a33.5 million by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
Peter joins the firm, a Microsoft gold partner, as a principal consultant, having previously held senior roles at IT services firm Inframon.<\/p>\n
He said: “I wanted to join PowerON because of its focus around Microsoft enterprise mobility and also the Pulse DMS platform, which enables organisations of all shapes and sizes to manage and secure devices, as well as monitoring system performance, directly from the cloud.\u00a0The product is based on the very best Microsoft technology and this role is a great opportunity to help grow this side of the business.<\/p>\n
“I was keen to join a team that focuses so much on its customers, who are based all over the world.\u00a0Working across the private and public sectors, I will be able to make a difference to organisations such as the NHS, as well as working with the education sector, health, manufacturing, engineering, legal and financial industries.<\/p>\n
“It’s a hands-on role that will allow me to bring the best of Microsoft enterprise solutions to so many.”<\/p>\n
PowerON\u00a0also has an office in Lincolnshire and provides powerful, high quality IT management and cloud automation solutions to organisations of all sizes across the UK.<\/p>\n
