Stockport’s Arden Software has completed the acquisition of American software company Cimex Corporation.<\/p>\n
Arden specialises in CAD and CAM software for the packaging sector, with its Impact packaging design software being used on a global scale. The Arden Group of companies, which also includes Arden Dies and Arden Engraving, has offices around the world, including sites in the US, Germany, Denmark and India.<\/p>\n
Established in 1987 from its headquarters in Belchertown, Massachusetts, Cimex develops CimPACK Software and has customers around the world, including in North and South America, Europe, Japan, China and South Africa.<\/p>\n
Martin Poynter, managing director at the Arden Group, said: “Arden Software and Cimex share a common background of strong technology development and esteemed customer relationships in the packaging and printing industries, so we\u2019re confident this acquisition will deliver real benefits to our customers and strengthen our position within the market.”<\/p>\n
Andrew Carey, president at Cimex Corporation, added: “Many of our customers use both Cimex and Arden Software products, and as companies, we share many of the same traits.
