A tech firm, Green Cloud Hosting, launched in 2011 and based in Whitefield, offers secure remote IT access to businesses across the UK.<\/p>\n
It has recently announced a 30 percent growth in revenues up to September 2020 as more customers are pushed towards the cloud due to working from home.<\/p>\n
The company, run by Kamran Maqbool, said the uplift in demand for their service has been triggered by companies needing to quickly adapt to remote working and \u201crapidly transition\u201d to using the cloud.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWhen lockdown was announced, overnight people were told to\u00a0work\u00a0from home.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor many companies this meant a rethink about their IT needs and how they could ensure staff could work both remotely and effectively because not everybody had a seamless integration of their IT needs.<\/p>\n
\u201cCloud infrastructure has enabled businesses that rapid transition to the cloud and an acceleration of the digital transformation of their work.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a result, they have become flexible and scalable at a time of uncertainty.\u201d<\/p>\n
The company has gained many new clients over this period including Kew Lighting, London Accountants and Partners, OJ fresh, the charity Stepping Stones, and Denton Property Law.<\/p>\n
Kamran added: \u201cWe had signed up new clients before lockdown was announced. But like many companies who were unsure about what to do, some of those clients pulled out.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut as people eased back into a \u2018new normal\u2019 those customers returned as they realised they needed the right technology to operate.<\/p>\n
