Teltonika, a global technology company, has chosen Manchester as the location for its first UK headquarters. The Lithuanian firm, which specialises in IoT devices and solutions, will occupy a space in Building 8 at Exchange Quay.<\/p>\n
Ciar\u00e1n Harkin, chief executive at\u00a0Teltonika UK, said: “We are an ambitious business with a high desire to grow our presence in the UK and with a localised support function in place we can respond to requirements quickly and ensure our R&D teams receive the latest in-country trends and insight for product development.\u00a0We can see that Manchester is an ambitious city and it\u2019s impossible not to get caught up in the energy it imbues.\u00a0 We needed a central location with great access links to all major UK cities and we could also see that with the range of educational establishments in the region, talent is thriving in Manchester, so it\u2019s right that we position ourselves here to attract the best people to serve our clients.”<\/p>\n
The move will see Teltonika establish a local presence to better serve its UK and Irish customer base. The company plans to recruit a range of roles before the end of the year, with further growth expected in the years to come.<\/p>\n
