Manchester is home to Britain’s fastest-growing tech firm, according to the latest Sunday Times 100 Tech list.<\/p>\n

Healthcare platform and digital health services company Evergreen Life has topped the list, which ranks Britain’s fastest-growing private technology companies.<\/p>\n

Evergreen Life’s sales grew by an average of 554% a year over the last three years, reaching \u00a336.1m in 2024. Over the same period, it grew its headcount from 50 to 500 employees and plans to create another 100 jobs in the next 12 months.<\/p>\n

Six of the 100 companies on the list are based in the North West. Manchester-based green energy marketplace UrbanChain is the third-fastest-growing\u00a0<\/span>software firm in the country, seeing sales rise 334.39% to \u00a325m over the three years.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Somayeh Taheri, UrbanChain Founder CEO, said: “I remember The Times including UrbanChain in its \u2018Rising stars series: the companies growing fast in the North West\u2019 back in September 2021.\u00a0Looking at where we were then to where we are now very much symbolises the journey so far.\u00a0There\u2019s no doubt that today, as a team, we feel a real sense of pride. We have once again reached another important stage in our growth and this accolade is very much welcome.”<\/em><\/p>\n
