Sheffield-based software consultancy The Curve has expanded its operations into Leeds, aiming to meet the growing demand for its “chips to cloud” technology development services across the North of England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fast-growing company, which specialises in helping organisations build business-critical systems, embed connected devices, and develop IoT solutions, has secured space at Platform, the tech and science hub located next to Leeds train station. As part of this expansion, the firm has appointed Alina Eden Cornea as regional partnerships and growth lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Paul Ridgway, co-founder and CEO of The Curve, said: \u201cWe\u2019ve been building relationships in Leeds throughout the year, hosting events and engaging with the local tech community, including at the Leeds Digital Ball. The response has been fantastic, and there\u2019s clearly strong demand for the complete technology solutions we deliver.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added: \u201cAlina already knows the region well and brings genuine passion for connecting people and communities. Having her on the ground in Leeds means we can strengthen existing relationships and stay closely connected to the local ecosystem as we grow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eden Cornea brings extensive cross-sector expertise, spanning chemical engineering, manufacturing, logistics, electronics, and telecommunications. With a background that includes coding and 3D modelling from the age of 11, she combines deep technical knowledge with proven business development skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Leeds expansion follows The Curve\u2019s impressive 49 per cent increase in annual turnover, reaching \u00a31.76 million, driven by a series of strategic contract wins with national and international clients. The company is experiencing organic growth and plans to create 10 new technical roles over the next year, having already grown its team to 28 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Curve was founded in 2019 by Paul and James Ridgway. Based at Oxo House, a renovated Modernist landmark on Sheffield\u2019s riverside, the company has assisted over 100 data-rich organisations in building and enhancing business-critical systems. Working from “chips to cloud,” The Curve provides complete technology solutions across various sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and professional services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
