Amentum brings its industry-leading expertise as a project delivery partner for complex energy infrastructure to the forefront of small modular reactor deployment, ushering in the next generation of clean, reliable energy.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amentum is already engaged in nuclear projects in Cumbria, having secured a position on the Decommissioning and Nuclear Waste Partnership (DNWP) framework for the Sellafield site. This 15-year programme involves decommissioning disused facilities and retrieving hazardous waste from legacy ponds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Loren Jones, senior vice president and head of Amentum\u2019s energy and environment-international business, added: &#8220;Amentum will support the deployment of a fleet of Rolls-Royce SMRs, contributing to our growth and our plan to create new jobs in the UK over the next four years.
