London-based HIVED, an AI-powered parcel delivery startup, has successfully closed a Series B funding round, securing approximately £33 million. The round was led by NordicNinja, a founder-led venture capital firm.

Tomosaku Sohara, Managing Partner at NordicNinja, said: “HIVED is doing what no one else in logistics has managed to do – pair a truly outstanding consumer experience with deep operational control. They haven’t just improved delivery, they’ve reimagined it from the ground up, with technology as the foundation, not an afterthought. This means its technology isn’t just modern, it’s built to scale. We believe HIVED has the platform, the team, the operational excellence and the momentum to reshape the future of parcel delivery, and we’re proud to back them as they expand across the UK.”

The newly secured funding will accelerate HIVED’s UK rollout, facilitate the growth of its engineering and data team, and scale the development of its proprietary logistics intelligence platform, HIVEDmind.

Murvah Iqbal, Co-founder and CEO of HIVED, said: “Parcel delivery should feel seamless, not stressful, but most of the industry is still running on systems that were never designed for ecommerce. At HIVED, we’ve taken a fresh approach – rethinking everything from first principles, putting technology and experience at the centre, and proving there’s a better way to do this at scale. This raise is a huge step forward in making great delivery the norm, not the exception.”

Founded in 2021 by Murvah Iqbal and Mathias Krieger, HIVED is the UK’s first customer-centric, tech-enabled, and all-electric parcel delivery company designed specifically for e-commerce. The company’s proprietary HIVEDmind platform leverages AI, real-time data, and modern architecture to seamlessly connect retailers, warehouses, drivers, and end customers through a single, integrated, fully synchronised end-to-end system.

Retailers integrate directly with real-time warehouse sorting, while routing algorithms adapt to driver behaviour and real-world situations. The entire system operates with a 100% electric fleet, making it the world’s only end-to-end electric logistics network. It uses dynamic delivery clusters that are continuously redrawn based on live parcel volumes. All parcels are tracked live from depot to doorstep, and retailers receive a holistic view of the entire journey via dashboards with geo-coded delivery photos, behavioural alerts, and fraud pattern detection, such as suspicious repeat orders, to drive value and protect reputations.

HIVED utilises accurate and dynamic models to predict delivery volumes for its customers. The platform understands how long deliveries take in different neighbourhoods, anticipates potential delays from obstacles like courtyards or gated buildings, and identifies optimal parking spots, relying on real-world behaviour rather than theoretical models.

Since 2021, HIVED has delivered over 6.5 million parcels in Greater London, achieving a 99% on-time delivery rate. HIVED opened a new London base in Hayes only last month to increase delivery across Greater London and its real-time tracking has led to a reduction in customer inquiries about order status by over 90% compared to other carriers. The company’s claim rate for lost or damaged items is more than ten times better than the industry average, contributing to a customer satisfaction rating of over 90%, significantly higher than the industry average of 32%. The HIVED team has grown to over 120 employees, with 20% of staff having started as drivers.
