Harvey, the AI company specialising in legal and professional services, has announced plans to open a new office in Paris during the second quarter of 2026. This move marks a significant expansion of the firm’s European presence beyond its regional headquarters in London. Alongside the new office, the company has appointed Jorge Bestard as its new vice president of EMEA sales.
The expansion comes as Harvey reports substantial growth in Europe, having increased its London-based team to more than 75 employees over the past year. The company already maintains a presence in Spain and Germany and recently secured strategic investments from European firms EQT and Evantic.
In France, Harvey already partners with prominent law firms such as Bredin Prat and August Debouzy, as well as corporate clients including Vinci Energies and Adecco. The company stated that the new Paris base will allow for closer collaboration with these existing partners and help build new relationships within the French legal community.
Winston Weinberg, chief executive officer of Harvey, said: “In the last year, we’ve grown our London team to 75+ employees, expanded into Spain and Germany, and added EQT and Evantic as strategic investors in Europe. The addition of Jorge as a senior leader on our team and an office in Paris in Q2 represent our objective to support the best legal teams in Europe with Harvey.”
Jorge Bestard joins the company from Canva, where he led EMEA sales for four years. His professional background also includes leadership roles at Meta and the collaboration software firm Miro. While he will be based in London, he will oversee sales teams and operations across the entire EMEA region.
John Haddock, chief business officer at Harvey, emphasised the importance of local engagement, stating: “Being close to customers matters. A local presence in Paris lets us engage more directly with law firms and in-house teams, understand their challenges firsthand, and support them in a way that simply isn’t possible from afar.”
Harvey’s platform is designed specifically for legal workflows, including contract analysis, due diligence, litigation, and compliance. The company currently serves more than 1,000 customers across 59 countries, ranging from global law firms to Fortune 500 enterprises.
