Lakeside Software has appointed Daniel Salinas as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will oversee Sales, Customer Support, Customer Success, and Business Development as the company continues to expand its DEX (Digital Employee Experience) and DEM (Digital Experience Monitoring) platforms.

DEX refers to the end-to-end experience an employee has with digital systems, applications and devices in the workplace. Lakeside Software’s SysTrack platform captures real‑time telemetry from endpoints – collecting thousands of data points every few seconds – to provide complete visibility into IT environments. This enables proactive IT operations, root-cause analysis and enhanced end-user support.

“I’m excited to return to an organisation that’s not just leading but redefining the DEX and DEM space,” said Daniel Salinas, COO, Lakeside Software. “Data is now the most critical differentiator in IT, and Lakeside’s unrivalled telemetry and observability is fueling an opportunity like no other. As we stand on the cusp of delivering AI‑powered solutions that transform IT operations, I’m thrilled to help scale our impact delivering AI‑powered automation and intelligence across every endpoint and edge device.”

Salinas previously served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Lakeside, where he worked directly with CEO Mike Schumacher and contributed to the company’s early‑stage growth. His most recent roles include Chief Revenue Officer positions at Nobl9 and Relay Network.

Commenting on the appointment, Mike Schumacher, CEO of Lakeside Software, said:
“Dan’s return marks a full-circle moment for Lakeside. His strategic mindset, customer-first focus, partner-oriented go‑to‑market and deep understanding of our mission will be instrumental as we drive the next wave of DEX innovation. With Dan’s leadership, we’ll accelerate our AI roadmap, empowering IT organisations to operate proactively with intelligence and agility.”

Salinas joins Lakeside at a time of growth, following updates to the company’s SysTrack platform. Recent enhancements have included generative AI insights, self-service automation, and real‑time monitoring of mobile experiences. These additions reflect the company’s focus on data‑driven IT operational intelligence.

Lakeside Software, headquartered in the United States, maintains UK operations in London. Among its UK clients are organisations such as the Department for Work and Pensions and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, both of which use SysTrack to support digital service delivery and secure endpoint compliance. The firm was recently named in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools for the second consecutive year.
