Thruvision, a security technology provider based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, has obtained a new retail distribution agreement in the United States.
The firm has expanded its existing partnership with a major German athletic apparel and footwear manufacturer, which will involve the deployment of an additional WalkTHRU system at a new American site. This addition brings the total number of WalkTHRU lanes in operation for the manufacturer to four.
David Fryman, senior US sales director at Abingdon-headquartered Thruvision, said: “Moving from an initial deployment to multiple US sites is always meaningful. “It signals real operational value, strong collaboration and confidence in the scalability of the solution. “Seeing a household-name sports brand scale from an early-stage implementation to multiple US sites is a strong validation of both the technology and the partnership behind it.”
In a separate development, Thruvision has confirmed the delivery of two of its SpotCHECK 8116 people-screening cameras to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
