Emerging AI specialist CloudWize, based in London, has announced a new leadership team as the company sets its sights on achieving a revenue target of \u00a39 million over the next three years. This strategic move follows the company’s impressive growth to \u00a33.2 million in its first 18 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new hires include three experienced professionals from across the UK. Lee Thatcher, an established cloud leader with a 20-year career focusing on Microsoft transformation projects, joins as sales director. He has previously held roles as head of cloud at Tieva and head of cloud and innovation at CloudCoCo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joining him is London-based senior innovation manager Jon Franklin. With 25 years of experience collaborating with global industrial organisations, particularly in the energy sector, Mr Franklin is known for his strategic thinking and passion for scalable AI solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rounding out the new appointments is Yorkshire-based communications specialist Katie Mallinson, who joins as a non-executive marketing director. An experienced media relations professional and former agency owner, she brings nearly two decades of experience in building the reputation and revenue of technical brands both in the UK and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These new leaders join co-founders Edward Humphrey, former EMEA cloud director of a \u00a3109 million portfolio at Cognizant, and Matt Hyde, an accomplished AI strategist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company’s recently relaunched brand positions the team as the ‘architects of intelligent change.’ Mr Humphrey and Mr Hyde, who have worked with government bodies, major consultancies, and Fortune 100 companies, founded CloudWize to provide enterprise-grade AI solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) looking to build, automate, and scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commenting on the expansion, CEO Edward Humphrey said: “The world of AI has exploded, but although adoption is rising, implementation often lacks strategic thinking. This limits what technology is truly capable of. We want to transform how work gets done \u2013 by considering AI, processes and people. I genuinely believe we’ve hand-selected some of the best global talent \u2013 strategic thinkers who have used AI to revolutionise everything from Formula 1 to the NHS \u2013 and we’re bringing that expertise to SMBs and the mid-market. We are really set to level the playing field.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CloudWize is now planning further hires. Fellow co-founder Matt Hyde added: “We’re always on the lookout for creative problem solvers who can help clients unlock faster delivery, smarter decisions, and more adaptive digital experiences. But ‘fit’ is also critical. We’ve made a big impact during our first two years, but our goals are huge.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CloudWize team currently includes 23 Azure architects and engineers working on projects in finance, legal, renewable energy, and manufacturing, with transportation and utilities identified as important future markets. To assist businesses on their digital transformation journey, CloudWize has also launched a free AI readiness assessment tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
