Lakeside Software, which has a UK base in London, has announced SysTrack Reliability Engineering, an update to its SysTrack platform designed to apply site reliability engineering principles to end-user computing. The tool introduces a service level objective model aimed at managing employee digital experience as a measurable service aligned to business outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The update addresses operational blind spots where infrastructure metrics appear healthy while end-user performance degrades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lakeside Software Chief Executive Officer Mike Schumacher said: “We have spent years turning infrastructure into a real engineering discipline, one that balances reliability with the room to innovate. The end-user side never got that same rigour, even though that is exactly where the business meets IT every day. I think the experience we deliver to employees deserves the same standard as the infrastructure behind it, because that is where the work actually happens.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The system incorporates data from more than 1,400 real-time sensors per device to measure endpoint performance and identify issues affecting digital workflows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rakshit Ghura, Vice President and General Manager of Digital Workplace Solutions at Lenovo, commented: “Organisations have invested heavily in modernising the digital workplace, yet the last mile \u2014 where employees actually experience IT \u2014 has remained stubbornly reactive. Applying site reliability engineering principles to end-user computing is the right next step. SysTrack Reliability Engineering gives IT leaders a measurable, business-aligned model for managing employee experience as a service and helps move the entire discipline from reactive support to proactive, accountable outcomes.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the centre of the system is the SysTrack Experience Index, a health model that provides configurable service level objectives based on sensor data. Additional features include persona-driven workflows, problem management tracking, automated fixes with pre-built scripts, proactive user notifications, and validation tools. The system is available to existing customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The announcement follows industry evaluations for the company. Lakeside Software was included in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools and named to TIME’s list of America’s Top WorkTech Companies of 2026. In addition, Information Services Group named Lakeside Software as a top vendor in two categories of its 2026 Provider Lens Future of Work Solutions Report, covering Digital Employee Experience Solutions and AI-Enabled End-User Computing Solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
