Legal technology provider Legora has acquired London-based document analysis firm Wexler, expanding its presence in the UK market and establishing a dedicated engineering hub in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the agreement, Wexler\u2019s 18-person workforce and engineering team will form the core of Legora’s new UK technical operations. The acquisition marks Legora’s fifth corporate takeover this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wexler, founded in 2023 by Gregory Mostyn and Kush Madlani, develops software for litigation, arbitration, and corporate investigations. Its platform analyses large unstructured document sets to extract verifiable events, processing over one million documents per case for clients including law firms Clifford Chance, Goodwin, and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Legora plans to integrate Wexler\u2019s analysis software directly into its legal workflow workspace to assist legal teams in building chronologies and managing evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transaction follows Legora’s recent Series D investment round, which raised \u00a3455 million ($600 million) and valued the platform at \u00a34.24 billion ($5.6 billion). According to corporate figures, Legora\u2019s platform is used by more than 100,000 lawyers across 1,500 organisations worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
