Electric vehicle charging network InstaVolt has renewed its partnership with mapping platform Zapmap, enabling drivers to pay for charging sessions directly through the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agreement covers InstaVolt’s network of more than 2,500 rapid and ultra-rapid chargers across almost 900 locations nationwide, integrating them into the 80,000 chargers across over 50 networks hosted on the Zapmap platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Headquartered in Hampshire, InstaVolt primarily installs infrastructure at retail and hospitality venues including McDonald’s, Costa Coffee and Booths, as well as along key transport arteries such as motorway service areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Delvin Lane, chief executive of InstaVolt, said: “Our focus has always been on giving drivers confidence in public charging, knowing they can find a reliable charger when they need one and get back on the road quickly. Adding Zapmap as another way to pay across our network gives drivers even more choice, making it easier to access reliable, high-powered charging wherever their journey takes them.
