Under the arrangement, Enviromena expects to take ownership of 233MWp of solar capacity and 75MW of co-located battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from Innova prior to the end of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parkgate Farm is fully consented and scheduled to begin generating electricity in summer 2028. Once operational, the site is projected to generate more than 28,000MWh of power annually, supplying the equivalent of over 10,000 homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The asset will become Enviromena&#8217;s second utility-scale solar development in Essex, joining its operational 71MWp Medebridge Solar Farm near South Ockendon, which was energised in September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chris Marsh, chief executive of Enviromena, said:<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We&#8217;re delighted to be working with Innova, with Parkgate marking the first milestone in a portfolio of projects that we plan to deliver together.<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is a significant opportunity for both businesses, and we<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>&#8216;re looking forward to progressing the wider portfo<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>lio through construction and into operation.<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We&#8217;ve established a strong relationship with the Innova team throughout this process, and we hope this will be the foundation of a successful, long-t<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>erm relationship.&#8221;<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daniel Mushi<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>n, chief financial and investment officer at Innova, added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We are delighted to announce the sale of Parkgate to Enviromena.<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;As the first project in a broader relationship between our organisations, this transaction continues Innova&#8217;s success on our renewable energy pipeline and our collaborative approach to project develo<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>pment.<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We look forward to working together on future opportunities and would like to thank our advisors PKF Corporate Finance, Burges Salmon and OWC for th<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>eir support on this<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup> transaction.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an earlier development demonstrating its UK market expansion, <a href=\"https:\/\/renewablesnow.com\/news\/enviromena-snaps-up-26-mwp-uk-solar-project-from-luminous-energy-1296900\/\">Enviromena completed the acquisition of the 26MWp Duxhurst Solar Farm in Surrey<\/a>.
