Express Networks launches free IT and cyber security health checks for businesses
Express Networks is offering free IT and cyber security health checks to businesses across Birmingham and the West Midlands to help organisations identify technology and security risks.
The initiative is aimed at small and growing businesses seeking an assessment of their existing IT infrastructure, cyber security arrangements and potential areas for improvement. The company said the service is available to organisations regardless of whether they use an external IT provider, manage systems internally or have no formal IT support in place.
The review covers areas including Microsoft 365 security, email security, multi-factor authentication, backup and recovery readiness, endpoint protection, device monitoring, administrative account exposure, firewall security and Cyber Essentials readiness.
Following the assessment, businesses will receive recommendations outlining areas that are performing effectively, potential weaknesses and steps that could help reduce IT and cyber security risks.
Express Networks has partnerships with technology providers including WatchGuard, Bitdefender and NinjaOne to support customers in areas such as endpoint protection, network security, device management and monitoring.
Jashan Gandham, founder of Express Networks, said: “After travelling to Cyber Expo Ireland and Infosecurity Europe in London, I spoke with global industry leaders, technology providers and cyber security specialists about the risks businesses are facing.
“Those conversations sparked the idea to offer local organisations a free IT and cyber security health check.
“Many businesses already have some form of IT support, but they may not always know whether key areas such as Microsoft 365, email security, backups and admin access are properly protected.
“This free health check is designed to give organisations a second pair of eyes and clear, practical advice.”
Express Networks provides managed IT support and cyber security services to businesses across Birmingham and the West Midlands, including Microsoft 365 support, backup solutions, endpoint protection, network security and remote support services.
