Bright Software Group has opened a new innovation hub in Leamington, expanding its presence in the Midlands with a six-year commitment to new office space.
The software company has taken offices at Aura in Harrison Way, with the refurbished site expected to double the capacity of its regional team.
Bright develops cloud-based software for accountants, payroll professionals, bookkeepers and businesses across the UK and Ireland. Its portfolio includes payroll, tax, audit, practice management and accounting software used to automate compliance and financial processes. The company has grown through a series of acquisitions and serves thousands of organisations across its core markets.
The Leamington office will support teams working across Bright’s tax, audit, payroll and accountancy software products and will also become the base for its artificial intelligence team.
The AI team is developing new products for accounting firms, including Oscar, an AI-powered payroll assistant designed to automate employee onboarding and payroll administration.
Stephen Murdoch, Executive Chair of Bright, officially opened the new office during a launch event.

The opening follows continued expansion by Bright Software Group, which has strengthened its software portfolio through acquisitions including payroll education provider The Payroll Centre and company secretarial software developer Inform Direct.
