Adey Electronics acquired by industrial technology group Pantek
Adey Electronics has been acquired by Pantek Group, bringing the Nottinghamshire business into a wider group focused on automation, connectivity and engineering services.
Founded in 2011 and based in Bottesford, Adey Electronics supplies industrial connectivity products and systems, including routers, antennas, device management software and power supplies. The company supports customers operating in industrial environments where communications infrastructure is critical to operations.
Pantek Group, which is based in Cheadle, operates a number of businesses across industrial automation and related technology sectors. Following the acquisition, Adey Electronics will continue trading under its existing name, with its management team and operations remaining in place.
The transaction was advised by KBS Corporate, with deal executive Atif Iqbal overseeing the process, supported by Max Whitworth of KBS Corporate Business Executive and legal advisers AG Corporate Law.
Lewis Harvey, head of technical and commercial services at Adey Electronics, said: “Becoming part of Pantek Group gives us a platform for the next stage of development. We share a similar approach to customer service and technical delivery, and we look forward to working more closely with the wider group.”
John Bailey, chairman of Pantek Group, said: “Adey Electronics brings experience in industrial connectivity, which complements the existing businesses within the group. The aim is to build capability across the portfolio while maintaining the strengths of each company.”
