Arden Group acquires Birmingham IT support firm ComputerWorld
Birmingham-based IT support specialist Computerworld Business Solutions has been acquired by Arden Group in the third acquisition in the space of 18 months.
Coventry-based Arden is a business telecommunications firm and this latest undisclosed deal will boost Arden’s portfolio of services by adding IT support to its roster.
The buyout of Edgbaston-based Computerworld Business Solutions is part of Arden’s aims to deliver a more integrated network service which it said had been driven by demand from customers for a single provider of communication technology.
The purchase follows on from the acquisitions of IT companies Page IT and Unitycom.
Royal Bank of Scotland’s corporate transactions team provided Arden with an undisclosed funding deal to support the acquisition and the firm’s future growth.
