New finance director joins electronics firm Stadium Group

Technology company Stadium Group has appointed a new group finance director.

Winston North will officially start on 15 May, and has also been made company secretary.

Stadium Group offers fully integrated design-led electronics technology solutions and global manufacturing and fulfilment solutions.

North joins Stadium Group, which has operations in Reading, Hartlepool, Eastleigh and Norwich from, from engineering company IMI where he was finance and IT director at its Hydronic Engineering division in Geneva.

Between 2007 and 2012 he was European chief financial officer for IMI’s Precision Engineering business, and has previously held roles as group chief financial officer at Knuerr AG and finance director of G4.

Charlie Peppiatt, chief executive of Stadium Group, said: “Winston has extensive experience working within dynamic manufacturing businesses with a global footprint and has a broad range of skills that will be applicable to Stadium Group as we continue to grow our technology products division and fulfil our increasing forward order book.

“I would also like to offer my thanks to Andrew Tonks for his recent stewardship as interim finance director.

“Andrew has been a great help in developing the finance systems and structure to support accelerated growth as a technology business and I am grateful for his support in ensuring an orderly handover to Winston.”
