Newcastle-based technology company Cybit has sold its enterprise-grade security arm, Cybit Cyber, to Dublin-headquartered digital service provider Viatel Technology.
The move sees Cybit, a provider of data intelligence and AI-driven technology solutions, now concentrate on delivering tailored solutions and services to mid-market and SME businesses across various sectors.
According to the firm, the divestment allows both Cybit and Cybit Cyber to pursue growth strategies that are better aligned with their respective markets and customer needs.
Cybit currently serves 18 regions across five countries and has 30 years of industry experience. The two companies will continue to collaborate on a case-by-case basis to ensure a seamless transition and continuity for their customers.
