The Liverpool city region HR technology firm Lavasource has expanded its global presence by establishing its first office in the US. Based at Sci-Tech Daresbury, Lavasource assists human resources departments with digital transformation projects and operates what it describes as the world’s largest dedicated ‘talent marketplace’ for HR and HR technology.
Lavasource already has locations in Canada, India, and Mauritius, and its new office is situated in Wilmington, Delaware, on the east coast. The company currently services clients in the US and states that this expansion will enable its team to provide improved support.
Mark Brooks-Lewis, founder, owner and chief executive of Lavasource, commented: “This is a natural next step in our journey.” He added, “North America is where many of our clients are headquartered, where much of today’s technology innovation is happening and where we’re seeing the fastest growth in demand for our services. Establishing a local presence allows us to better support our clients and partners, deepen relationships and deliver greater global impact.”
According to Companies House, Lavasource was incorporated in 2020 and has experienced considerable growth in recent years. The most recent accounts show annual revenues of £2.1 million and pre-tax profits of £276,184. Although the accounting period was extended by two months to March 31, 2024, these figures represent a substantial increase from the £197,000 revenue and £22,298 pre-tax profits reported for the preceding year.
Employee numbers have also risen from three to 15. The firm reports that it has successfully completed large-scale transformation projects in over 70 countries, providing support to clients across various industries.
With the establishment of the Delaware office, Lavasource is now positioned to offer its complete range of services across the region, encompassing strategic advice, smooth integration, continuous support, and change management.
