The tech recruitment firm Oscar is preparing to relocate its Manchester headquarters to the Globe Building within the Enterprise City district. The business has secured space on Level 1 of the development to accommodate its local team.

This relocation from the current Mount Street site in the city centre is scheduled for the end of the third quarter of this year, following a period of growth and investment in the North West.

Originally established in Manchester, the company now operates on an international scale across the technology, finance, professional training, energy, and construction sectors. In addition to its United Kingdom presence, the firm maintains offices in the United States.

The new location places the business within a hub for tech, media, and creative industries, providing access to a specific talent pool and a connected business network.

Matthew Southworth, the managing director of Oscar, said: “This move marks an exciting step for Oscar as we continue to grow our Manchester headquarters. Enterprise City has a real momentum to it, bringing together innovative businesses in a collaborative environment.” He also noted: “The quality of the workspace and the level of amenity available make it a fantastic place for our team, and it plays an important role in attracting and retaining top talent as we scale.”

The workspace adviser Level assisted with the property deal. Joe Averill, the founder of Level, said: “We worked closely with Oscar to understand their brief and brought forward a select number of options aligned to their requirements. Enterprise City stood out as the clear choice, offering the right combination of workspace quality, location and amenity to support their next chapter.”
