Two Teesside-based family businesses, A&N Safety Consultants and Calm Inductions, have partnered to launch SafeDocs, a digital compliance management platform aimed at health and safety firms across the UK.
Middlesbrough-based A&N Safety Consultants, located in the town’s Boho Zone, provided sector expertise to design the software alongside Calm Inductions, a digital systems specialist. The resulting platform centralises administrative and compliance processes for health and safety management onto a single digital interface.
The web-based and mobile system is designed to replace paper records by storing risk assessments, company policies, training logs, licences, and safety certifications in a cloud repository. Built-in automated tracking features trigger notifications when documentation requires review or renewal, while additional modules accommodate incident reporting, asset tracking, and workforce compliance monitoring across connected devices.
In a recent corporate development, A&N Safety Consultants won the Micro SME Award at the Constructing Excellence North East Awards, recognising its growth and service delivery across regional construction and industrial sectors. This industry recognition underpins the company’s expansion beyond traditional consultancy into proprietary compliance technologies.
