Wavenet launches network security service for enterprise IT environments
Solihull-based managed services provider Wavenet has launched a new managed security service designed to give organisations greater visibility and control across complex IT networks.
CyberGuard Net360 combines network visibility, zero trust networking and network detection and response (NDR) into a single managed service aimed at helping businesses identify cyber threats, improve resilience and reduce network downtime.
Wavenet provides managed IT, cyber security, cloud, communications and networking services to businesses and public sector organisations across the UK. Following its merger with Daisy Corporate Services in 2024, the combined business supports more than 22,000 customers and offers a broad portfolio of managed technology services.
The company said the launch follows increasing cyber security risks for UK organisations. According to the National Cyber Security Centre, it managed 204 nationally significant cyber incidents during the past year, while the UK Government’s Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025 found that 43% of businesses experienced a cyber breach or attack during the previous 12 months.
Paul Colwell, Chief Information Security Officer at Wavenet CyberGuard, said: “Without full visibility, networks are at risk of blind spots, outages and breaches. Many large organisations do of course have already basic monitoring and management capability in place; but what they struggle with is forensically seeing what’s happening network-wide and how to keep it secure. CyberGuard Net360 provides a smarter, more agile way to view, protect and optimise their networks, helping businesses see more, trust more and secure more.”
CyberGuard Net360 is built around three core capabilities: network visibility to monitor complex IT environments; zero trust networking to strengthen security through continuous verification; and network detection and response to identify suspicious activity in real time.
The managed service integrates technology from Gigamon, NetBrain, Kentik and Darktrace to provide a single view of network performance and cyber security.
Colwell added: “With more than 200 major attacks recorded in the UK last year alone, and outages costing millions, visibility is now business critical. CyberGuard Net360 helps customers cut through the noise, pinpoint risks and act fast, all within a zero-trust framework.”
