A Manchester-based provider of payroll and accounting software has reported strong growth in revenue and profitability in its latest financial year.

My Digital Accounts saw revenues rise 21 per cent to £3.4m over the year ended 31 March 2026, while recurring EBITDA surged to £1.1m. Profit after tax was £300,000. Its platform processed more than 3.5 million payslips.

My Digital has invested heavily in automation and artificial intelligence, with AI now embedded across its software development and quality assurance processes. The company also furthered the rollout of My Digital Payroll, designed to automate payroll workflows.

Using AI to collect, extract and process payroll data, the platform is designed to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy and scalability for payroll providers and finance teams.

Meanwhile, My Digital completed the strategic acquisition of Meteor Human Capital, expanding its service offering and strengthening its operational footprint across both the UK and India, where it has a 55-person subsidiary.

Having established a strong position in the contractor and temporary labour payroll sector, the company is now expanding into the much larger payroll bureau market.

Current trading in 2026 remains strong.
