Symmetry reports turnover of nearly £3 million in first year of employee ownership

Bristol-based Symmetry has reported a turnover of almost £3 million and a profit of £449,000 in its first year of employee ownership. The SaaS business, which operates the bluQube cloud-based accountancy platform, closed the 2025/26 financial year with a turnover of £2.995 million.

The company said the results were supported by a stable revenue base, strong customer retention and continued demand from both new and existing customers. Symmetry performed ahead of plan while continuing to invest in the infrastructure and capability needed to support future growth, according to the company.

Simon Kearsley, Chief Executive and Founder of Symmetry, said: “Our results reflect the strength of our model, the loyalty of our customers and the hard work of our team. We have also continued to invest in the business, particularly in our cloud infrastructure and management capability, which puts us in a strong position for the future.”

New business contributed to the year’s performance, generating additional implementation services income from new customer engagements. During the year, Symmetry said it continued to invest in its cloud infrastructure and management capability, while maintaining strong cost control across the business.

Kearsley added: “Employee ownership has reinforced the sense of shared responsibility across the company, and that has been reflected in the way the team has delivered for customers throughout the year.”
