Zoho, a global technology firm and provider of cloud-based business software, has opened its new UK office in Milton Keynes. The launch occurs during a period of growth for the company, which reports a 43% increase and a tripling of its UK workforce over the last two years.
The opening ceremony was attended by James Lancaster, Mayor of Milton Keynes, along with representatives from the local business and innovation community. The office expansion is accompanied by plans to launch a UK-based data centre in the second quarter of 2026. This facility will allow customers to host data within the country, addressing requirements for data sovereignty and secure infrastructure.
James Lancaster, Mayor of Milton Keynes, said: “Zoho establishing a presence in Milton Keynes is a significant milestone for the city, reflecting on MK’s ambition and reputation as a thriving hub for innovation and technology. Zoho will be another great contributor to our city, creating new opportunities for skills development, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our ambition for continued growth and economic success here in Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes is an attractive location for businesses looking to expand, and working with the amazing community the City offers.”
Sachin Agrawal, Managing Director of Zoho UK, said: “Our continued growth in the UK reflects both the strength of the market and increasing demand for technology that is locally relevant and globally capable. Over the past two years, we’ve significantly expanded our team, and our new Milton Keynes office provides a strong foundation for further growth and investment in local talent. Alongside this, the upcoming launch of our UK data centre will deepen our technology capabilities, enabling us to support customers with the infrastructure, expertise, and local presence they need. Milton Keynes is a thriving, forward-looking hub where we can grow our presence and contribute to the local economy, skills development, and wider business community.”
The firm recently marked its 30th anniversary and has more than 150 million users across one million companies worldwide. In the UK, it provides integrated technology solutions for finance, marketing, and operations to thousands of businesses. Currently, more than 500 organisations in Milton Keynes use the firm’s technology.
